It is very difficult to make this kind of film. In addition to this difficulty mixing of Wrestling and Boxing is the top challenge of director S Krishna. Only an actor like Kichcha Sudeep could take this kind of risk and succeed in it. Macho man in the wrestling ground comes to the ring to give punches. It becomes ‘Panchamrutha’ for the fans of Abhinaya Chakravarthy.

In addition to it the sacrifice mood of the film and sentiment dialogues that comes to Kichcha Sudeep would leave a strong impression that Dr Vishnuvardhana is very much in him. A lengthy film with various shades of a Pukka commercial cinema ‘Pailwan’ has many scoring points and S Krishna has not erred in his business of entertainment.

An orphan boy Krishna gets the right care from Sarkar (Sunil Shetty) of Gajendragad. Sarkar is a big man running his wrestling camp with traditional style in him. Sarkar believes that the man with power fights becomes rowdy, a man with right power fights for right cause like ‘Yodha’.

Sarkar wants Krishna (Sudeep) to get the national crown in wrestling. He wants him not to deviate. Krishna finds right Rukmini (Akanksha Singh) and the height of humbleness in Krishna earns two persons. That is Sarkar and Avinash father of Rukmini. There is one more waiting to give it back to Krishna – Rana Pratap (Suhanth Singh). To the surprise of everyone adds one more responsibility of boxing for Krishna. That is to give back head weight boxing champion Tony Sebastian (Kabir Duhan Sigh) and coming inside the ring and beating Tony would get Rs.10 crores for Krishna. He has a goal of talented children on streets to get right platform.

Now Sarkar has to come back to normalcy – for this Rukmini father Avinash works as bridge because of utmost simplicity of Krishna, Rana gets the right beating in his own grown on wresting ring, the hard work and patience of Krishna gets the crown of boxing champion. It all happens in the second half.

The last 20 minutes of the boxing ring looks very near to perfection. The international standards are taken note.

Kichcha Sudeep not only wins for his solid attempt in wresting and boxing, he steals the show from his emotional performance too. The dialogue with Avinash, with street child and composed performance with an equally composed actor Sunil Shetty, it is a glorious treat from Kichcha Sudeep.

Sunil Shetty, Avinash, Sharat Lohitashva, Kabir Duhan Singh, Suhanth Singh – add right preparations they have made to the role.

Arjun Janya has lent two terrific tunes. Karunakar cinematography is impeccable, technical sounding for the film is fabulous, dialogues are well written for the situations. The possibility of editing the film further to 145 minutes was very much possible.
